Biography

forever JONES is a Christian gospel ensemble from the United States established in 2010. The group consisted of Dewitt and Kim Jones and their five children. Prior to the group's formation, Dewitt Jones wrote the recording “Use Me”, which was released by Ron Kenoly in 1994. The ensemble was introduced by Jeoffrey Benward to producer Tommy Sims, who produced the group's debut studio album, Get Ready (2010). The recording received three Dove Award nominations at the 42nd GMA Dove Awards and two Grammy Award nominations for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance. The recording “He Wants It All” was nominated for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year. The group's discography featured the studio recordings Musical Revival (2012) and Prayer Tools, Vol. 1 (2014). Dewitt and Kim Jones served as pastors at King's Chapel Dallas.
