Florin Stoian (performing as Florin Salam; born October 1, 1979) is a Romanian manele, pop, and dance-pop singer, rapper, and accordionist from Bucharest. Salam began a musical career in adolescence, performing with his father and uncle. Initially performing as Florin FermecÄtoruâ, Salam released the debut single âCe gagicÄ ÈmecheritÄâ in 2002 with producer Dan Bursuc. In late 2002, Salam adopted his current stage name. Salam collaborated with Paula Seling in 2008 and recorded tracks with Goran BregoviÄ for the 2011 album Champagne for Gypsies. In 2013, Salam released the single âSaint Tropezâ, which reached over 70 million views on digital platforms. Salam recorded numerous studio albums, including A ieÈit soarele din nori (2015), and Nebunia Lui Salam Vol. 1 (2012). Salam received the award for best manele performer of the year in 2005 and collaborated with labels including Nek Music and Big Man.
