Biography

Felt, an American hip hop duo consisting of Slug and Murs, formed in 2002. The group originated from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Slug and Murs first met at First Avenue. Their debut studio album, Felt: A Tribute to Christina Ricci (2002), was produced by The Grouch. In 2005, Felt released their second studio album, Felt 2: A Tribute to Lisa Bonet, produced by Ant of Atmosphere. This period also saw the release of the single "Dirty Girl" (2005). Their third studio album, Felt 3: A Tribute to Rosie Perez (2009), was produced by Aesop Rock. In 2020, Felt released the single "Name in Ya Mouth" and their fourth studio album, Felt 4 U. Produced by Ant, this album featured guest appearances from Blimes, Aesop Rock, The Grouch, and Shepard Albertson. In 2021, they released the single "Heavy D".
