Biography
Fannypack was formed in 2002 in Newâ¯York City by producers Mattâ¯Goias and âFancy,â featuring vocalists Jessibelâ¯Suthiwong, Belindaâ¯Lovell, and Catâ¯Hartwell; the group emerged from the early 2000s electronicâhip hop scene in the United States. Their debut album So Stylistic was released on 8â¯Julyâ¯2003 by Tommyâ¯Boy Records and included the single "Cameltoe", which reached numberâ¯38 on the Australian charts; the same track was later featured in films such as Haroldâ¯&â¯Kumar Go to White Castle and Jackassâ¯3.5. In 2005 the band issued Seeâ¯Youâ¯Nextâ¯Tuesday, which included collaborations with Brookeâ¯Lugo and Mr.â¯Vegas, and they followed with Ghettoâ¯Bootleg in 2008. A 2010 EP, Nuâ¯Nu, showcased the single "Nuâ¯Nu" and earned placement in the film Stick It and the series Theâ¯Lâ¯Word. The group opened for Madonna on the 2006 Confessions Tour and maintained a presence on the underground club circuit.
