Factory Floor is a British electronic music group formed in London in 2005. The original trio comprised Gabe Gurnsey (drums and electronics), Nik Colk Void (vocals, guitar, electronics) and Dominic Butler (synthesizers, electronics), although the line-up has evolved over the years. Their music is characterized by a hypnotic fusion of post-punk, techno, industrial minimalism and experimental music, combining mechanical rhythms, cold textures and repetitive loops. Factory Floor has made a name for itself with intense, pared-down, often improvised concert performances, and has been hailed for its ability to blur the boundaries between club music and the sonic avant-garde. The band is signed to DFA Records, founded by James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), and has released several acclaimed records, including the raw Factory Floor (2013) and the sleeker 25 25 (2016). Arriving in 2010, Nik Colk Void, also a member of the Carter Tutti Void duo with Chris & Cosey (ex-Throbbing Gristle), brought an experimental, noise sensibility to the project. Following the album A Soundtrack for a Film (2018), the duo returned in 2025 with the track "Between You".
