Biography

Fabio Golfetti, born April 10, 1960 in São Paulo, Brazil, is a guitarist and singer known for his work in progressive, post, and psychedelic rock. Influenced by bands like Pink Floyd and Gong, he founded Lux in 1978, which evolved into Ultimato and then Zero, releasing the single "Heróis" in 1985. That year, he formed Violeta de Outono with Angelo Pastorello and Cláudio Souza, releasing albums including Violeta de Outono (1987) and Espectro (2012). In 1988, Golfetti started The Invisible Opera Company (Tropical Version Brazil), releasing four albums. He joined Gong in 2012, playing on albums like I See You (2014) and The Universe Also Collapses (2019). Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various artists, including Dave Sturt on Dreams and Absurdities (2015), and has continued to be an active member of Gong while also working on solo projects.
