Endaf Emlyn is a Welsh singer-songwriter and film director born on July 31, 1944 in Bangor. Emlyn achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began after he performed as a violinist in the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. He achieved professional recognition for serving as a presenter for Harlech Television in the 1960s. His recording career began with three singles released on the label Parlophone in the early 1970s. Emlyn achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Hiraeth (1972) released on the label Wren Records.
