Biography
Enation, an American indie rock band, was formed in Battle Ground, Washington, in 2004. The group initially consisted of brothers Jonathan Jackson and Richard Lee Jackson, with Daniel Sweatt on bass. Their first single "Ride" from the debut independent album Identity Theft (2003) gained attention as the theme song for Stephen King's thriller Riding the Bullet. Enation released several independent albums, including Soul & Story: Volume One (2007), Where the Fire Starts (2011), World in Flight (2013), and My Ancient Rebellion (2017). The band also made notable appearances on television shows such as One Tree Hill, with their song "Feel This" charting on iTunes rock charts. In 2017, Jonathan Thatcher joined Enation for touring and studio work. Their album Anthems for the Apocalypse, released in 2017, was produced by Greg Archilla.
