Biography
Simon Shackleton, known professionally as Elite Force, is an English electronic music producer, composer, DJ, and performer. He began his career in 1997, releasing EPs such as Mainframe Wrekka EP and "This Is Latinamyl EP. His breakthrough came with the release of No Turning Back (2003), followed by Modern Primitive (2006). Throughout his career, Shackleton produced music for films such as The Matrix, Arlington Road, and Charlie's Angels, as well as video games like MotorStorm and Need for Speed: High Stakes. He received several awards, including a 2011 Beatport Award for the highest-selling breakbeat track of the year and two International Breakbeat Awards in the same year for Best Producer and Best Label. In 2025, he released The Shadowmaker, marking a shift toward introspective and cinematic compositions, accompanied by a live multimedia performance co-created with filmmaker Chele Gutek.
