Stanton Warriors, the British DJ and production duo, emerged from the West Country of England in the late 1990s, with their early work rooted in club culture and underground house. Their first breakthrough came with the 2001 single "Da Antidote," which peaked at number 69 on the UK Singles Chart; this release established their reputation for bass-driven tracks. The duoâs debut studio album, Da Virus, was issued in 2002, and they followed with Da Antidote in 2002, both reinforcing their presence in the UK dance scene. In 2004 they released Adventures In Success and Slanty, the latter reaching number 93 on the UK chart, and continued to produce influential EPs such as the Stanton Warriors Remixes EPin 2007. Their live presence expanded with Stanton Sessions parties across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, while they also signed to the Punks label and released the Sessions, Vol. 4 album in 2013. Subsequent singlesâincluding "Ouepa Ouepa" (2012) and "Where's The Beef? / Mpc" (2013)âmaintained their chart activity, and the duoâs remix work for artists such as Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, and Gorillaz further cemented their influence in electronic music.
