Egon Soda, a Spanish-language indie pop-rock band from Barcelona, was formed in 2006. The group initially consisted of Ricky Falkner on vocals and bass, Ferran Pontón on electric guitar, Xavi Molero on drums, and Pablo Garrido on electric guitar. They released their debut self-titled album in 2008, and reached a milestone in December when their debut album topped the list of best Spanish albums by IndieSpot. The band gained significant attention with their second album, El Hambre, El Enfado Y La Respuesta (2013), further solidifying their presence in the Spanish rock scene. Their third album, Dadnos Precipicios (2015), featured notable collaborations and included standout tracks such as "Ãscápula" and "La recuperación". The band's fourth album, El Rojo y el Negro (2018), showcased a blend of Afro-American influences.
