Biography

Earnest Pugh Jr., born November 23, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee, is an American gospel singer whose career began with military service and church worship leadership. After establishing EPM Music, he released Earnest Pugh Live: A Worshipper's Perspective, followed by Seasons Change in 2007, which earned Best Gospel Album at the 6th Annual Independent Music Awards. His breakthrough single "Rain on Us" reached Number One on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs in 2009, and "I Need Your Glory" entered the Top Ten in 2011. Subsequent albums: Earnestly Yours (2011), The W‑I‑N Experience (2013), and Survive (2017), We Wanna See You, Vol. 1 (Live) (2025), continued to chart, while singles such as "Keeper of My Soul" (2023) and "Don’t Give Up" (2024) maintained his presence on gospel radio. Pugh’s discography spans collaborative projects, keeping his presence in gospel music.
