Biography
Dylan Menzie is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Belle River, Prince Edward Island. He released his debut EP Heather Avenue in 2013. In 2016, Menzie gained significant recognition as a finalist in CBC Radio 2's Searchlight competition with the song "Kenya," which reached Number 1 on The Radio 2 Top 20 chart show. That same year, he released his first full-length album Adolescent Nature. In 2017, Menzie received two East Coast Music Award nominations for Pop Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. He competed in CTV's music competition series The Launch in 2018 but did not advance to the finals. Later that year, he released As the Clock Rewinds, which featured primarily new recordings of material from Adolescent Nature. Menzie was nominated for Contemporary Singer of the Year at the 14th Canadian Folk Music Awards.
