Biography

Drinking Boys and Girls Choir, a South Korean punk rock band from Daegu, was formed in 2012 by bassist/singer Meena Bae, drummer/singer Myeong-jin Kim, and guitarist Bondu Seo. The band's debut EP We Are was released in 2017. The band released their first full-length album Keep Drinking in 2019, followed by extensive international tours supporting Otoboke Beaver and Say Sue Me. The band's subsequent album Marriage License was released in 2021 and received favorable reviews from Spin, Paste, KEXP, and CBC. In 2024, Drinking Boys and Girls Choir released the standalone single "History" following a lineup change that included Scottish guitarist/singer Megan Nisbet.
