Biography

Green Flame Boys, a South Korean punk rock band, was formed in 2012 by Cho Kicheol and Yang Jeonghyeon. The duo met at a rock festival and were former members of the band Cheolnam. Their name is inspired by an Italian fairy tale. In 2015, they released their first EP, ê·¸ì ê·ì¬ì´ ì¸ ë³´ë¯¸ìëê±¸, which included a song about Japanese adult actress Tsubomi. In 2017, Green Flame Boys released their debut studio album, Greenroom, on The Valiant. Their second studio album, GREENBRID(2022), received good reviews from critics. In 2023, they performed at the Keunsori Festival alongside other notable acts and won third place in the Pentaport Rock Festival Super Rookie Competition. In 2025, they released their third studio album, GREENROOF.
