Biography
Domhain is a post-black metal/blackgaze band formed in 2021 and based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Made up of seasoned musicians from the Irish metal scene, the band features Andy Ennis (vocals, bass), Anaïs Chereyre (ex-Celtachor, drums, cello, vocals), Bryn Mills (guitar) and Nathan Irvine (guitar, piano). Blending the intensity of black metal with shoegaze influences, haunting vocal harmonies, cello lines and sophisticated arrangements, Domhain have created a singular style. Following the release of the self-produced EP Nimue (2023) and its lengthy progressive developments, the band signed with Italian label These Hands Melt and recorded their debut album, In Perfect Stillness, released in February 2026 and charting at #55 in the UK download charts.
