Biography

DopeNation, a Ghanaian musical duo of identical twin brothers Micheal Boafo and Tony Boafo, were born in Accra in 2016. Their production career began in 2012 under E.L., leading to early credits for Shatta Wale and Joey B. In 2016 they released "Bebia Ye Shi", followed by "Uh Huh" in 2017 and "Eish" in 2018, which earned them the Sound City MVP Group of the Year in Africa award. Their debut album ATTA launched on 4 December 2021, followed by Ghanapiano on 18 August 2023 and Ghanapiano â The Album on 10 July 2025. Singles "Today", "Kakalika", and "Gb33" continued their chart presence, and they received nominations at the Ghana Music Honors and Global Music Awards Africa.
