Biography
Dirty Circus is a Canadian hip hop duo from Vancouver. The group initially consisted of Metty the DertMerchant and Mos Eisley, who began performing on the local hip hop scene around the year 2000 with DJ Itchy Ron. They collaborated with Pigeon Hole to self-publish their first album Dirty Circus & Creative Minds Present Wildlife Canada in 2000. In 2005, they released their second album Dirty Circus & Friends Present... Over Easy, featuring local hip-hop artists and reissued it as Dirty Circus & Friends Present... Over Easy V.2 the following year. The duo later formed Sweatshop Union with Pigeon Hole and other Vancouver-based artists. In 2010, Dirty Circus released their first album as a duo, Alive And Well, on URBNET Records. The album featured guest musicians including Geo of Blue Scholars and Shad, and appeared on the EarShot campus and community radio hip hop chart in July and August 2010.
