Diney is the stage name of Edinei Moreira da Silva Ferreira, a Brazilian pagode and samba singer who built his catalog around live-party recordings and romantic, percussion-forward grooves, with early releases including the album Receita do Amor (2015). He leaned further into the roda-de-samba atmosphere with Diney no Engenhão (Ao Vivo) (2019), followed by #Pagodi (2021), a project that framed him in the contemporary pagode lane with a mix of medleys, singalong choruses, and guest-friendly arrangements.
