Dig Hay Zoose

Biography

Dig Hay Zoose, a Christian funk and modern rock band from Kansas City, Missouri, formed in 1990. The group signed to Brainstorm Artists International in 1991 and released their debut album Struggle Fish, produced by Terry Scott Taylor. Their second album, MagentaMantaLoveTree (1993), co-produced with Gene Eugene, showcased a more emotional sound fusing punk rock and freestyle jazz. The band toured nationally with Scaterd Few and performed at festivals, notably the Cornerstone Festival. Dig Hay Zoose's final release was Ascension 7: Rocketship to Heaven (1995), which featured guest appearances from Dan Michaels of The Choir and Allan Aguirre of Scaterd Few. The band disbanded in 1996, with members later forming other projects such as Infrared and Hot Pink Turtle.
