Biography

Ed Schrader's Music Beat is an American indie rock duo formed in 2009, consisting of Ed Schrader and Devlin Rice from Baltimore, Maryland. Initially, Ed Schrader started their solo career playing shows with just a drum and released a solo album, The Choir Inside. In 2010, Devlin Rice joined as the bassist, forming the duo. Their debut album Jazz Mind was released in 2012 on Load Records and Upset The Rhythm. The duo's second album, Party Jail, was released in 2014 under Infinity Cat Recordings, featuring notable singles such as "Televan" and "Radio Eyes." They toured extensively with bands like Future Islands and Wye Oak. In March 2018, they released their third album Riddles, produced and co-written by Dan Deacon.
