Michael Kamm, born on September 10, 1978 in Regensburg, Germany, is a composer and music producer known for his work in film and indie rock. He began his musical journey at age six as a member and soloist of the Augsburger Domsingknaben, receiving classical vocal training and private piano lessons. After experiencing voice changes during puberty, Kamm shifted to punk and rock music, forming several bands including Nova International, in which he performed as singer and guitarist. In 2005, he co-founded the production company PasDeDeux with a bandmate, producing numerous albums across various genres and composing for advertising campaigns for companies such as ING-DiBa, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Panasonic, and Coop. His film scoring debut came in 2010 with Das letzte Schweigen. Kamm's notable collaborations include working on the thriller Sleepless â Eine tödliche Nacht (2017) with director Baran bo Odar, marking his entry into Hollywood. He has since composed for films such as Who Am I â Kein System ist sicher (2014), Aqila (2018), and Prey (2021).
