Biography
Dead Lord is a Swedish hard rock band formed in 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. The group was established in January 2012 by the singer and guitarist Hakim Krim, who had previously performed with the band The Scams. Krim was joined by the drummer Adam Lindmark, the guitarist Olle Hedenström, and the bassist Tobias Lindkvist. Their debut single, âNo Prayers Can Help You Nowâ (2012), was followed by the debut album, Goodbye Repentance (2013). Lindkvist was replaced by Martin Nordin in 2014. The band signed with Century Media Records in 2015 and released the album Heads Held High (2015), which reached number 74 on the German charts. Their recordings include In Ignorance We Trust (2017), which reached number 48 in Germany. In 2020, Nordin transitioned to guitar following the departure of Hedenström, and the bassist Ryan Kemp joined the ensemble for the release of the album Surrender (2020), which reached number 25 in Germany. Subsequent releases include the EP Dystopia (2022).
