Biography

DCappella, an a cappella group formed in 2018 under Disney Music Group, originated from a national search led by Deke Sharon. The group initially consisted of Antonio Fernandez, Joe Santoni, Morgan Keene, Orlando Dixon, RJ Woessner, Shelley Regner, and Sojourner Brown. Their debut single "Immortals" from Big Hero 6 was released in April 2018, followed by their first appearance on American Idol's Disney Night. DCappella's self-titled debut album was released in November 2018, and their first tour began in January 2019. In October 2019, they released their holiday album Rockin' Holiday. The group underwent several lineup changes, with Kalen Kelly replacing Shelley Regner in May 2019 and Kelly Denice Taylor replacing Sojourner Brown in March 2020. The group officially disbanded on June 3, 2023.
