Day of Fire was an American hard rock, post-grunge, Christian rock, and alternative metal group from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2003. The band was founded by Josh Brown, Joe Pangallo, Chris Pangallo, and Zach Simms. The group released the debut studio album Day of Fire on October 26, 2004, which featured the recordings âCornerstoneâ and âDetainerâ. The album won the Rock Album of the Year at the 2005 Dove Award ceremony and received a Grammy Award nomination. In 2006, the band released the album Cut & Move. The recording âRunâ served as the theme song for the event WWE Unforgiven 2006. The group released the album Losing All in 2010. The recording âLatelyâ reached number 33 on the Billboard Active Rock Chart. The group announced an indefinite hiatus in June 2010.
