Biography

Daniel, Me EstÃ¡s Matando, the Mexican "Boleroglam" duo of Daniel Zepeda and IvÃ¡n de la Rioja, emerged in February 2018, blending vintage bolero influences with electro-psychedelic flair. Their romantic lyrics and harmonious melodies quickly captivated audiences, leading to performances across Mexico and internationally in countries like Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Colombia, Chile, and Spain. In 2021, they released their third album, Grandes Ãxitos del Boleroglam Vol. 2, featuring singles that gained national radio play and helped surpass 1.5 million monthly listeners on streaming platforms. The duo has collaborated with artists such as NiÃ±o de Elche, Leonel GarcÃa, Mon Laferte, Caloncho, Silvana Estrada, La Banda BastÃ¶n, Alex Ferreira, Ramona, Elsa y Elmar, and Marco Mares. In September 2024, they showcased their distinctive sound on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series, further solidifying their presence in the Latin music scene.
