Día de los Muertos, a metal band from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 2005 by Andrés Jaramillo and Alfonso Pinzón. Initially a side project featuring Vincent Price on bass, the band invited various singers to collaborate on their instrumental music. In 2011, Día de los Muertos released their debut full-length album Satánico Dramático, featuring Loana de Valencia as lead vocalist and notable collaborations with Jeff Walker, Scott Carlson, and Anton Reisenegger. The band embarked on a Latin American tour in 2013, performing at major festivals such as The Metal Fest in Santiago de Chile and Hell & Heaven Metal Fest in Guadalajara, Mexico.
