David Rothon, also known as D. Rothon, is a British composer, multi-instrumentalist, and pedal steel guitarist based in London. His work blends ambient music, contemporary classical composition, folk influences, and cinematic sound design. He is best known for a series of evocative instrumental albums released on the British independent label Clay Pipe Music, where he has developed a distinctive sound characterized by spacious pedal steel textures, field recordings, subtle electronics, and a strong sense of place.
