Biography
Craven Faults is the project of a British DJ and producer from Yorkshire, a county that inspires his stage name, referring to the Craven fault network in the Pennines. Musically inspired by the German krautrock of the 1970s and the Berlin electronic school, the musician signed a series of three EPs from 2017, published on his own label Lowfold Works, with titles Netherfields Works (2017), Springhead Works (2019) and Nunroyd Works (2019). Signed to the ambient music label The Leaf Label, founded by Tony Morley in 1994, Craven Faults deploys his skills on the albums Erratics & Unconformities (2020) and Enclosures (2020), followed by Standers (2023), May Birching (2023) and Bounds (2024), available in five different vinyl editions. The producer, who also performs live, notably at festivals, returns in 2026 with the album Sidings.
