Biography

Cold As Life, an American hardcore punk band from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 1988. Known for intense live performances and a raw sound influenced by bands like Negative Approach and Discharge, they released their debut album Born To Land Hard in 1998 through CTYC Productions and +/- Records. Their second album, Declination of Independence, followed in 2000 on the same label. The band disbanded and reformed multiple times over the years. In 2023, Cold As Life officially reunited for a show in Detroit with bands like Madball and Terror.
