Biography
Hugo Manuel, better known as Chad Valley, was born in Oxford, England, and is an English electronic recording artist and singer. He began his musical career with the release of his self-titled debut EP in 2010, via Cascine. In 2011, he gained wider recognition with his second EP, Equatorial Ultravox. His first full-length album, Young Hunger, was released in 2012 and featured collaborations with Twin Shadow, El Perro del Mar, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Notable singles from this period include "Now That I'm Real (How Does It Feel?)" and "Fall 4 U". Subsequent albums include Entirely New Blue in 2015 and Imaginary Music in 2018. In 2020, he released the album The Starlight Night as Hugo Manuel.
