Biography
Friedrich Schley, known professionally as Jaysus, was born on September 25, 1982, in Friedrichshafen, Germany. He is a German rapper of Greek origin who grew up in Stuttgart. Jaysus began his career as part of the rap group Chablife from 2001 to 2005, alongside Kay One and Scandaliz. In 2006, he released his first solo album, König im Süden, through Shrazy Records. The following year, Jaysus released his second album, Der erste Tag vom Rest meines Lebens. In 2008, he ended his collaboration with Shrazy Records and founded the label Macht Rap with his brother Constantin Schley. The label signed a deal with Warner Music Group in 2013, leading to the release of the 2014 album Gott liebt die Geduldigen. Jaysus released further albums, including Sünde (2015), Genesis (2018), and his bilingual EP Alan Ntalon (2022). His label Macht Rap ceased operations in 2019.
