Biography
Os Replicantes is a Brazilian alternative rock and punk group from Porto Alegre. The original lineup featured Wander Wildner on vocals, Cláudio Heinz on guitar, Heron Heinz on bass, and Carlos Gerbase on drums. The band's active period began in 1983. They released their eponymous debut album Os Replicantes in 1985. The band released a steady stream of albums including O Futuro é Vórtex (1986), Histórias de Sexo e Violência (1987), Papel de Mau (1989), and A Volta dos que Não Foram (2001). They toured Europe multiple times. In 2024, they re-released the LP O Futuro é Vórtex and started a crowdfunding campaign for a documentary.
