Biography

SNFU was a Canadian hardcore punk band from Edmonton, formed in 1981. The group was founded by Ken Chinn, Brent Belke, Marc Belke, Warren Bidlock, and Evan C. Jones. Its debut album, ...And No One Else Wanted to Play, was released in 1985. The band released the albums If You Swear, You'll Catch No Fish (1986) and Better Than a Stick in the Eye (1988). SNFU disbanded in 1989 and reformed in 1991. After signing with Epitaph Records, they released the albums Something Green and Leafy This Way Comes (1993), The One Voted Most Likely to Succeed (1995), and FYULABA (1996). The band went on hiatus in 2018. Chinn died in 2020.
