Biography
Brian McComas is an American country artist who is best known for his top ten single '99.9% Sure (I've Never Been Here Before)' in 2003.
Having a love of music from an early age, McComas found his way into the industry after meeting with his hero Paul Overstreet while attending one of his concerts, who subsequently gave him the address of his publishing company. McComas was encouraged by them to continue writing and submitting songs, before he gained a publishing deal with Polygram Records upon moving to Nashville. He eventually signed to Lyric Street Records, who released his self-titled debut in 2003 and achieved chart success with two singles charting in the US top 40.
When he was unable to maintain commercial appeal, he was dropped by Lyric Street, but was snapped up by Katapult Records shortly after, who released his second album 'Back Up Again' in 2006.
