Biography

Little Texas, an American country music band formed in Nashville in 1988, quickly rose to prominence with their unique blend of country and southern rock. The original lineup included Tim Rushlow, Brady Seals, Del Gray, Porter Howell, Dwayne O'Brien, and Duane Propes, all of whom brought their diverse musical backgrounds to the group. Their debut album, First Time for Everything, released in 1991, produced several hit singles, including "Some Guys Have All the Love," which reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. The band's success continued with their second album, Big Time (1993), which featured the chart-topping single "My Love" and the fan-favorite "God Blessed Texas," earning double platinum status. Their third album, Kick a Little (1994), further solidified their status with hits like "Amy's Back in Austin." Despite lineup changes and a brief hiatus, the band reformed in 2004 with a new lead vocalist, continuing to release music and tour. In 2022, they celebrated the 30th anniversary of their debut album, marking a legacy of over three decades in the country music scene.
