Biography

Beth Bombara, born August 4, 1983, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is an American singer-songwriter. She began playing piano at age eight and later taught herself guitar. In high school, she formed the punk rock band Green Means Go, which performed locally from 1999 to 2005. After graduating from Greenville College in 2006, Bombara moved to Oklahoma to tour with Samantha Crain & The Midnight Shivers. She released her first solo EP, Abandon Ship, in late 2007. Her first full-length album, Wish I Were You, was funded through Kickstarter and released in 2010. In July 2013, she released the EP Raise Your Flag. Bombara’s self-titled album, Beth Bombara, was released in June 2015. Notable achievements include being named The Riverfront Times Best Singer/Songwriter in 2012 and Best Americana Artist in 2014 and 2015.
