Biography

Parsonsfield, a folk rock group from Mansfield, Connecticut, was formed in 2011. The band, consisting of Chris Freeman, Antonio Alcorn, Max Shakun, and Erik Hischmann, originated from the University of Connecticut's folk music club. Their debut album, Poor Old Shine, was released in November 2013 under Signature Sounds Recordings, produced by Sam Kassirer. The band changed its name to Parsonsfield in July 14. In September 2014, they released their second studio EP, Afterparty, and continued with notable releases including Blooming Through the Black (September 2016) and WE (March 2018), produced by Dan Cardinal. Their single "Ktaadn" was released in February 2016. In December 2018, Harrison Goodale left the band, followed by Max Shakun and Erik Hischmann in early 2021. Parsonsfield's music has been featured in productions such as The Heart of Robin Hood and AMC's The Walking Dead.
