Blood Stain Child was formed in Osaka, Japan, in 2000 by Ryo (bass and vocals), Ryu (lead guitar), Daiki (rhythm guitar), Aki (keyboards), and Violator (drums). The group released its debut studio album Silence of Northern Hell on 17 July 2002, blending power metal, death metal, and black metal elements, and followed with Mystic Your Heart in 2003, which introduced a technoâinfluenced keyboard style. In 2005 the band released Idolator, produced by Tue Madsen, shifting toward a melodic death metal sound similar to In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. The 2007 album Mozaiq further incorporated trance and metalcore influences, while the 2011 EP εpsilon showcased experimental production. After a series of lineup changes, the group signed with Coroner Records and released The Legend in 2018 and Amateras in 2019, the latter featuring the single "DelâSol". In 2021 the band issued the twoâtrack single "2045", announcing forthcoming albums Cyberia and Metalia for May 2024. Throughout its career, Blood Stain Child has toured Japan, Europe, and the United States, performed as an opening act for Dream Evil in 2002, and collaborated with producers Anssi Kippo and Tue Madsen.
