Biography

Threat Signal, a Canadian metal band from Hamilton, Ontario, was formed in 2003 by cousins Jon Howard and Rich Howard. Their breakthrough came with the song "Rational Eyes", which topped an international metal chart on GarageBand.com. In 2005, Threat Signal signed with Nuclear Blast and began recording their debut album Under Reprisal with Christian Olde Wolbers of Fear Factory. The album was released in 2007 after several lineup changes. Their second album, Vigilance, was produced by Jon Howard and released in 2009. The band's self-titled third album followed in 2011. Threat Signal continued to tour extensively, including with Children of Bodom and Epica. In 2017, they released their fourth album, Disconnect. Nine years after, Threat Signal returned with Revelations, released through the Polish label Agonia Records in March 2026.
