Betty Madigan, born Betty Madigan in 1928 in Washington D.C., is an American singer. She attended the Catholic University of America and began her career as a vocalist in the mid-1950s and in 1954, was recognized by Billboard as one of the most promising new female vocalists, appearing on various television shows including The Red Skelton Hour, The Dave Garroway Show, and The Colgate Comedy Hour. She also acted in an episode of The Alcoa Hour titled "The Stingiest Man in Town" in 1956. Madigan's notable singles include "Joey" (1954), which reached number 22 on the Cash Box chart, and "Dance, Everyone, Dance" (1958), which peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. In November 2018, Jasmine Records released a two-CD compilation of her singles recorded between 1953 and 1961, featuring 58 tracks. Additionally, Sepia Records released a CD containing her albums Am I Blue? and The Jerome Kern Songbook.
