Beseech, a Swedish metal band from Borås, was formed in 1992. The group released several demos before signing with Metal Blade Records and publishing their debut album ...From a Bleeding Heart on May 5, 1998. Their second album, Black Emotions, was released in 2000 and featured the songs "Manmade Dreams", "Neon Ocean" and "Lunar Eclipse". Beseech toured Europe with Lacuna Coil and Theatre of Tragedy in early 2001. After a series of lineup changes, including the departure of singer Jörgen Sjöberg and the addition of Erik Molarin, the band released Souls Highway in April 2002 via Napalm Records. The album included a cover of ABBA's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!". In 2004, Beseech recruited guitarist Manne Engström and released Drama, followed by Sunless Days in September 2005. The band disbanded in 2006 but reformed in 2012, releasing their sixth album, My Darkness, Darkness, on March 4, 2016.
