Biography

Lullacry was a Finnish heavy metal/gothic band, formed in Helsinki in 1998. The group recorded their debut demo Weeper's Aeon in 1998 and released their first full-length album, Sweet Desire, the following year. This led to a contract with Spinefarm Records. Their career gained momentum after the release of Be My God in 2001, which was followed by a joint tour with Edguy. Vocalist Tanya Kemppainen left the band in 2002 and was replaced by Tanja Lainio. Subsequent releases included Crucify My Heart and the single "Don't Touch the Flame", featuring a cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like a Hole", which were released in 2003. After a hiatus, they released their fifth studio album, Where Angels Fear, in 2012. The band officially disbanded in 2014 following three farewell shows.
