Biography
Belvedere is a Canadian punk rock band that emerged from Calgary, Alberta, in the midâ1990s. The group began by recording demos that circulated in local punk circles, building a following that led to their EP release. Over the years they released albums, beginning with Because No One Stopped Us in 1998, Angels Live in My Town in 2000, 'Twas Hell Said Former Child in 2001, Hometown Advantage in 2003, Fast Forward Eats the Tape in 2004, the compilation Belvedere in 2012, The Revenge of the Fifth in 2016, Hindsight Is the Sixth Sense in 2021, and Seven Years of Bad Luck in 2026. Each release consolidated their presence on the Canadian punk scene, earning recognition in charts and invitations to tour with punk acts across North America.
