Ashley Michelle Koley, born February 20, 1982, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is the lead singer of Ash Koley. She began singing lessons at age five and performed with groups like Prodigy and Super Trooper during high school. In 2004, Ashley Michelle Koley met Phil Deschambault, forming the duo Ash Koley. They signed with Nettwerk Records in 2009. Ash Koley released four EPs: White, Black, Red, and Blue. Their breakthrough single "Don't Let Your Feet Touch Ground" reached number 50 of the Canadian Hot 100 in 2010. The band's full-length album, Inventions, was released in October 2010 under Nettwerk Records.
