Belinda Jane Emmett, born on April 12, 1974, in Gosford, Australia, was a singer and actress. She began her career working at Coast Rock FM radio station and singing lead vocals in the band Big Baby Jam. In 1998, Emmett released her first single, "Off the Wall", a cover of Michael Jackson's hit. Her music career included collaborations with Marcia Hines on the duet "Shower the People" (2004). Emmett's debut album, So I Am, was released posthumously in April 2007 and debuted at number 10 on the ARIA Charts, achieving gold status. Emmett passed away on November 11, 2006, at the age of 32 due to cancer.
