Bérangère Palix-Bienwald, born in 1975 in the Ardèche Department, France, was a French singer. She began her artistic journey as a teenager, performing in plays and learning to play the clarinet. Palix-Bienwald studied Germanistics at Grenoble University while also receiving training in theater, dance, and singing at a regional conservatory (Conservatoire National de Région). In 1997, she moved to Berlin, where she gained recognition for her French songs inspired by artists like Boris Vian and Boby Lapointe. Palix-Bienwald performed regularly at venues such as the Grünen Salon of Volksbühne Berlin and the BKA-Theater. She collaborated with various artists, including Scarlett'O, Jürgen Ehle, and the Ukrainian trio Bravo+. Her discography includes Libellule (2005), Le Bleu de Berlin (2010), and Ricochets (2014). Palix-Bienwald was also a member of the a cappella ensemble Aquabella. She passed away on January 2, 2021 after battling a brain tumor.
