Biography

Narco, a Spanish rap metal band from Sevilla, was formed in 1996. Initially known as Lumpen, they changed their name to Narco and released their debut album, Satan Vive, on June 12, 1997. Produced by Jesús Arispont of Def Con Dos, the album featured a lineup including Chato Chungo and Vikingo M.D. on vocals. Their second album, Talego Pon Pon, was released in April 1999. Narco continued with notable releases such as Chaparron De Plomo in January 2001 and Alita De Mosca in January 2010. The band addressed themes of narcotics, rebellion, and social issues in their music. After a brief hiatus, Narco reunited for concerts and released the compilation album, Alijos Confiscados 1996-2008.
