Biography

DÃ¼Å SokaÄÄ± Sakinleri was a Turkish rock band formed in 1993 by Murat Ãelik and Murat YÄ±lmazyÄ±ldÄ±rÄ±m. The duo released their debut album DÃ¼Å SokaÄÄ± in September of the same year, marking their entry into the music scene. In February 1997, they followed up with their second album YaÅadÄ±kÃ§a, featuring the track "Gayret Et GÃ¼zelim". Their third album, ÃÃ§, was released in November 1999, also under EMI. In 2002, Murat YÄ±lmazyÄ±ldÄ±rÄ±m released a solo album titled Cennet under the band's name, marking a significant shift as Murat Ãelik did not participate in this release. The duo continued to perform live at venues like Peyote on Ä°mam Adnan Sokak but pursued solo projects for their albums.
