Biography

Bad City was an American rock group from Chicago, Illinois, established in 2008. The group consisted of Josh Caddy (vocals), Tommy English (guitar), Max Perenchio (guitar), Jake Serek (bass), and Kevin Kane (drums). The band signed with Atlantic Records in 2010 and released its debut studio album, Welcome to the Wasteland, on 24 August 2010. Produced by Johnny K, the record reached number 182 on the U.S. charts. The album featured the track “Call Paul Stanley”, which was endorsed by the Kiss frontman. While the group performed the song “Fight as One” as the theme for the series The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the track was not included on the debut album. Bad City supported the release on tours with The Smashing Pumpkins, Hinder, and Slash. In June 2011, Caddy left the ensemble and was replaced by Alec Cyganowski. Bad City became inactive in December 2011 following a performance in Chicago. The song “Take Me for a Ride” was later featured in the series Peacemaker. Perenchio died in a car accident on 26 November 2020.
